One of the saddest parts about her death (for Stiles) is the fact that she was a staple of his life with his mother. She was a symbol of a childhood where his family was whole and happy, Heather probably reminded him of her.

I knew there would be wank about Derek & the teacher, Ms Blake. I knewknewknew it. So disappointed. I personally am excited to see where it goes and thought it was a really great moment in the episode. And I still ship Sterek as well as shipping them because fuck it, they’re fictional characters and I will multipship all I want. And I think they would be a really great pair, and Derek needs someone pls and thanks, and Ms Blake seems smart (teacher, plus she got the hell out of the fighting without losing her head) and caring (pushing Scott to keep up his good work) and how gentle they were together and how her hand fitted in his giant one was super cute. So yes, I shall OTP them to my multi-shipping hearts delight.

I thought it was really cute. I cried over it, tbh. I’m so glad that Derek is beginning to rebuild himself. This scene proves that it’s happening. He’s starting to step outside his “normal” attitude of being mean and unapproachable. It’s a healing process. He’s healing. This was amazing.

And, just a side note: Derek still looks mega-bangable while covered with blood. Just saying…Ms. Blake, get that.
